Terms and Conditions
Vaultoro and its associated companies (“we,” “us” the “Company”) offer you the opportunity to earn rewards by referring friends to apply for our job openings. Your participation in the Vaultoro Referral Program (“Vaultoro Referral Program” or “Program”) can earn you a referral bonus. We reserve the right to terminate the Program at any time for any reason. The Program is owned by Vaultoro and its contact is the HR department.
These terms (“Terms”) apply to a person’s participation in the Program. By participating in the Program, the person agrees to use the Program as outlined herein.
This Program is void where such referral programs are prohibited. People who refer others to the program are “Referrers”; those who are referred are “Referred Applicant.” Referrers are may be eligible to receive a “referral bonus”. Referrers must speak and read English and must 1) certainly check in advance that the Referred Applicant is matching the Job description in the job opening 2) are in a possession of a bank account on their name 3) is not in any professional way involved in a headhunting or recruiting agency. The Company reserves the right to determine if a Referrer is not matching the criteria mentioned in this paragraph.
Referrers can be existing employees of Vaultoro or its associated companies or TheStandard.io but not involved in the interview process and therefore slightly in the decision making.
How to Start
To participate, you are sending an email to [email protected] or [email protected] depending on the referring job opening mentioning 1) wanting to participate in the Vaultoro Referral Program 2) Introducing the Applicant forwarding us their contact details e.g. email. If you are employed by TheStandard.io or Vaultoro, please use the google form provided by Recruiting/HR.
The value of the bonus depends on the connected job position for which the referral applicant is hired. Here is an overview with the amounts:
Solidity Developer 1,500€
Lead Engineer 2,000€
Non-tech job positions 1,000€
How to receive the Referral Bonus
The Referrer is eligible for the referral bonus once his Referred Applicant gets hired by Vaultoro or its associated companies. “Hired” means that the Referred Applicant receives an offer and signs the employment contract as well as starts working with Vaultoro or its associated companies. The referral bonus will be paid after the first 4 weeks of employment and within the next payroll cycle e.g. the Referral Applicants starts on January 9th, the Referrer receives his bonus by end of February. If the Referral Applicant starts on January 20th, the Referrer receives his referral bonus by end of march.
Payout of Referral Bonus’
The Referral Bonus will be sent as a bank transaction to the indicated bank account of the Referrer. Possible transaction costs, e.g. for a transfer outside the EU (but not within the UK) are to be paid by the referrer. The Referral Bonus can not be paid in cryptocurrency.
The referrer undertakes to report the bonus received to the tax. Vaultoro and its associated companies are exempt from any misconduct on the part of the Referrer.
How the participation ends
Participation in the Program represents a time-limited relationship with you, for privacy purposes. You will be considered an active member of the Program if 1) there is an active job opening 2) Vaultoro and its associated companies are actively recruiting for an open position 3) Your Referral is not older than 6 months starting to count from the month of contact when you sent the email or add the Referral Applicant details into any online form for this purpose e.g. Referral Applicant was sent by January 3rd, then the Referral Participation ends on June 30th. 4) The Referrer didn’t cancel his/her (all genders) participation in informal written form before.
Except where prohibited, disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or related to this Program or any bonus awarded shall be resolved under the laws of the United Kingdom, and except where prohibited, British law (without reference to its conflicts of laws principles), and participant agrees to submit any dispute to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Cardiff, United Kingdom.
Referrer’s Code of Conduct
Referrer’s agree that they will not violate any of these Terms, or otherwise engage in activity that could be considered harassment toward other users. Referrrer’s agree not to use the Program to:
- Violate the intellectual property rights of Vaultoro or it’s associated companys
- Spam or otherwise create bulk distributions of the Job opening-Link that is inappropriate
- Collect or attempt to collect personal data about potential Referred Applicants
- Engage in any actions that are designed to disrupt or undermine the Program
- Transmit files that contain bots, viruses, works, Trojan horses, or any other file that could contaminate or otherwise destroy The Company’s intellectual property
- Engage in illegal or unsportsmanlike activities
- Engage in behavior designed to annoy or harass others
- Engage in actions that disparage or malign or call into question the reputation of Vaultoro and its associated companies, in the Company’s sole discretion
Reservations of Rights
We reserve the right to modify or amend at any time these Terms and the methods through which Referral Bonus’ are earned. We reserve the right to disqualify any Referrer at any time from participation in the Program if he/she (all genders) does not comply with any of these Terms. Vaultoro and its associated companies Entities’ failure to enforce any term of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROGRAM MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION FROM PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, PROGRAM ENTITIES RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY FEES) TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION
